Our background screening service needs to add degree verification API for Mexico. Currently we verify CURP and RFC but clients are asking us to also confirm that candidate's stated degrees are real and properly registered with SEP.
How complete is SEP's database? Does it cover degrees from private universities, or only public institutions? And can a degree verification API confirm the degree is not just registered but that the person actually completed it (vs having a partial registration)?
