Usually two separate data sources. SAT registry (RFC status) is the tax side. RPP (commercial registry) is the legal incorporation side. Few providers combine both in one call — most focus on SAT.

For most compliance use cases, SAT RFC status is sufficient. RPP data is harder to access programmatically since it's managed at the state level in Mexico.

quick question: when people say "mexico registry api" are they talking about SAT's taxpayer registry, the Public Registry of Commerce (RPP), or something else entirely? I keep seeing different providers use the term differently.
i'm building company onboarding and need to verify a company's legal existence and fiscal status. do I need two separate queries — one to SAT for tax registry and one to RPP for corporate registry? or is there a combined mexico registry api?
