We're onboarding corporate clients in Mexico and need to do RFC company verification as part of our due diligence process. The flow is: user submits their company RFC, we verify it's a real, active moral entity registered with SAT.

I found SAT's EDOC (Proveedor Autorizado de Certificación) portal but that's for CFDI, not raw RFC lookup. Has anyone found an API that specifically handles RFC company verification — returning the registered business name, fiscal regime, and active status?

We want to auto-fill the company name field and flag RFCs that belong to physical persons instead of moral entities (since we only onboard businesses). Any advice on which APIs distinguish between persona física and persona moral in the response?

Most third-party RFC APIs include an entity_type field indicating physical vs moral. apipull.com lists several providers — check the response schema before committing to one.

You can also cross-check against SAT's public 69-B blacklist for companies flagged for fake invoices. Some RFC company verification APIs bundle this check automatically.
